A note from Phillips Paving Company:

2022 Concrete & Asphalt Rehabilitation Project

Phillips Paving Co. Has been awarded as the contractor for the 2022 Concrete and Asphalt Rehabilitation here at Four Colonies in colonies 1 & 2. See maps below if you are unsure of what colony you are in. If you are a single family home, you are not part of colony 1 or 2. If you are an attached home or garden villa, you are in colony 1 or 2. As part of our contract, Four Colonies management has asked that we provide pricing for resurfacing residential driveways. This pricing is only available while our equipment is mobilized on site. If you are wanting to get a quote for your driveway or carport, please give me (Wes McGowen) a call. I will personally draw up and email you a contract.  

Generally, asphalt driveways will be charged at $2.50/SF unless other unforeseen factors apply. These common factors may include but are not limited to: Water drainage issues & subgrade issues. A visual inspection may be needed. Concrete driveways will be estimated at a case by case basis due to varying size driveways.

Partial carports will not be accepted so if you want the paving done under a carport the whole carport will need to be done. This will require everyone to pay their fair share, but the contract will need to be under one name. Furthermore, this work is more labor intensive so the base price of carports will be $2,000 each, plus $250 p/stall. We plan to start the work as soon as weather allows so, please have your requests to me by March 1st.

We plan to start on the concrete as soon as tomorrow, so if you see Pink Paint on the curbs please refrain from blocking these areas over the following 12 weeks as we will need access to them. (These areas are also numbered on the maps on the next page). We will start at colony 1 and move to colony 2 after.

After all concrete work is completed, the asphalt portion of the project will start. This will likely be some time in March or April. We will send another letter to inform you of which color (Phase) we will be in during which dates. If we are working in your area you will have limited access to your driveways and house during this time so we will try to give as much notice as possible. Any vehicles left in the streets will need to be towed at the owner’s expense to the clubhouse.
